Most NFL analysts and personnel around the league believe that Josh Allen can be considered one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL today.

Not everyone is as high on the Buffalo Bills' franchise quarterback, though.

In an anonymous poll of over 100 players, 11 of them voted Allen as the most overrated quarterback in football. A stunning reality that has left analysts confused and angry overall at the players unwilling to come out publicly with their thoughts.

“I’m shocked,” ESPN's Louis Riddick said regarding Allen’s ranking. “It’s the Kansas City Chiefs are the team that said, ‘Look, when we play Josh Allen, we know [that] with one swing of that arm, he can win the football game.'

"It's that simple. I don't know how he's number one on this list. It makes no sense to me."

Allen led the league last year in total touchdowns and has been the central reason the Bills have been in championship contention in the last four seasons.

With him under center, Buffalo has won the AFC East in each of the last four seasons. That may not be good enough to some players but it's more than enough to surprise analysts and former players around the league with their own opinion on the subject.
