Angel Reese Drops Olympic Promise in Teaser

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese dropped a teaser for her new podcast "Unapologetically Angel," which featured her brief thoughts on participating in the 2028 Olympics.

Reese and fellow standout rookie Caitlin Clark were left off the most recent women's basketball Olympic roster. The team went on to win gold but the omission of Reese and Clark was a significant talking point.

In the podcast clip, Reese made her intentions crystal clear for the 2028 Olympics, set to take place in Los Angeles.

"In 2028 we're going to be on that Olympic team," Reese says in the clip while looking at the camera.

Reese's new show was announced on Monday and the first episode is set to drop on Thursday. It will provide further context on her thoughts.

Reese has said that the show will feature unfiltered conversations and touch on everything from basketball to fashion and the latest headlines.

“It’s another way for me to connect with my fans and reach new audiences I wouldn’t necessarily have before,” Reese told Complex. “I can’t wait to share a different side with listeners and have them come on this ride with me.”

Reese has established herself as one of the WNBA's biggest stars, both on and off the court. The former LSU star was selected No. 7 overall in the draft and earned an All-Star nod as a rookie.

Reese is averaging 13.5 points and 12.9 rebounds per game with the Sky.
