Chiefs Charles Omenihu PUP List Timeline?

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls, and they will need all of their key contributors healthy if they want to do that.

Charles Omenihu was one of the team's sack leaders in the 2023 season, but he will be starting this year on the PUP list as a result of a torn ACL that he suffered in the AFC title game. Now, the team has more of an idea of when he will be back on the field.

Per a report by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport , he says that the 27-year-old edge rusher could be back by the middle of the season in November, which could give the team a jolt on the defensive side halfway through the season.

Omenihu was a key contributor for the Chiefs this past season, as he was third on the team in sacks with seven. He did so while only playing in 11 games, and he started in just one of them.

If Omenihu can be the same after he returns from his injury, then the Chiefs could gain some momentum towards the middle of the season.
