Anthony Edwards and Kevin Durant were two of the biggest stars on Team USA at the Paris Olympics, and some have suggested that the two should team up in the NBA.

But on a recent episode of the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, New York Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony says that he does not like the idea of the two superstars linking up in the league.

"I hate hypotheticals," Anthony said. "Do I think it would ever happen? Maybe. His last couple years, he'll see an opportunity where he can go and help somebody like ANT. That's a possibility, but I don't think them being cool and hanging out, is like they talking about teaming up. Athletes don't have time... Athletes get comfortable with their environment and who they are around."

The two met in the playoffs this past season, and it was Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves who got the best of Durant and the Phoenix Suns.

Ever since then, the two have been together the last several months, and that has led people to want the two to team up. Edwards and Durant are two of the brightest stars in the league, and they are both currently set on taking their respective teams to the playoffs, not teaming up.
