Jalen Williams is not just one of the league's brightest stars today, but he is certainly one of the most outgoing. And in the eyes of both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Trey Murphy III, no other player can match the Oklahoma City Thunder sensation in terms of being talkative.

In their recent appearance in the Old Man and The Three podcast, Jackson Jr. and Murphy III were asked about their opinions on who has been the league's biggest talker. Without hesitation, the Memphis Grizzlies star argued that J-Dub indisputably takes the crown.

"I know what he does," JJJ said . "And sometimes I’ll be like ‘Yo, yo — good to see you, though’ but then like, nah. He wants to talk X and O's... He wants to talk basketball. He'll be like: 'Man, did you see that? Why did he cut to the [basket]?' I don't know. I don't care.”

Engaging even in the heat of the battle

Based on his experience as well, Trey backed Jaren’s notion about Jalen. Narrating what he saw in the past season's first round of the playoffs against Oklahoma City, the New Orleans Pelicans wing came up to the conclusion that J-Dub is truly verbally active, regardless of the circumstances and being in the heat of the battle.

“Even during the playoffs he's talking. I'm like, bro, this is Game 2. We can't be speaking to each other," Murphy revealed.

This wholesome discussion by both JJJ and Murphy III has already circulated on the NBA internet, enough for J-Dub to pay attention and admit his chatty demeanor via X.

J-Dub backs up when he talks

He might be the most conversational out of everybody else in the league, but J-Dub certainly doesn't allow his game to be left behind on the court. As it is, there is a reason why he is widely pegged as a future All-Star. And in just his second year in the NBA, he is already proving that by averaging 19.1 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.0 boards.

With J-Dub slated to face them for plenty of thrilling matchups in the Western Conference, both JJJ and Murphy III can only anticipate more moments for themselves of hearing the OKC star talking out of the blue.
