Caitlin Clark's historic rookie season continued on Wednesday night. The Indiana Fever rookie set yet another record during their win over the Connecticut Sun, passing Rhyne Howard for most three-pointers made by a rookie with 88.

This record is just the latest in Clark's crazy rookie season. The Fever star has certainly turned heads with her play, getting the attention of casual fans and legends of the game. One of those legends who took notice was WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.

After Clark broke the three-point rookie record, Leslie took to X to congratulate the Fever rookie.

Clark drained an early three-pointer during their game against the Sun. The Fever star did not have a good shooting night from the field, making only three of her 12 attempts from deep. However, she still ended up with 19 points and five assists, including a late layup that gave Indiana the lead.

With that record, Clark continues to strengthen her hold on the Rookie of the Year race. The Fever star is averaging 18 points per game, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per contest. Her performance has helped the Fever regain their footing in the WNBA landscape.

Clark and the Fever's win keeps them in a strong position for the WNBA playoffs. They've won six of their last eight games after the Sun win, and they are a game behind the Phoenix Mercury for the sixth seed. If they keep this up, they'll be back in the playoffs after picking first in the last two drafts.
