The Detroit Lions made a few more roster moves on Thursday as they continue to build out the roster ahead of the season-opener.

Detroit officially moved defensive lineman John Cominsky to injured reserve after keeping him on the initial roster and using the two short-term IR spots on DT Brodric Martin and CB Emmanuel Moseley.

Cominsky reportedly tore his MCL at the beginning of training camp and is out indefinitely but could still return late in the season.

Meanwhile, the team also brought back wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, who had been vying for a roster spot throughout the summer. He joins multiple other veterans on the practice squad, who could be elevated when the season begins.

Finally, the team released safety C.J. Moore from the practice squad.

Even after the moves, the Lions still have one open practice squad spot.

The team will open the season in primetime on Sept. 8 in a wild card-round playoff rematch against the Los Angeles Rams.
