Can you hear that? Better yet, can you feel it? Ah, yes, Saturday is almost here, which means ESPN's College GameDay will once again be gracing our home television screens.

The crew—consisting of Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Pat McAfee, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, and now retired Alabama coach Nick Saban—will be heading to College Station, Texas, this weekend for the Week 1 game featuring No. 7 Notre Dame against Texas A&M.

In what is a loaded Week 1 in college football, after traveling to Dublin, Ireland, for Week Zero with Georgia Tech facing off against Florida State, GameDay is back stateside this weekend in a state synonymous with American football.

Unlike last week, this will be a top 25 showdown, and it just got even bigger with the announcement of GameDay’s guest picker.

Former Texas A&M Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel will be live and in attendance with the GameDay crew, making his selections.

"I'm very excited to announce that I will be the celebrity guest picker on Saturday, nine Eastern time," Manziel said. "Aggieland, we need you guys loud and crazy as we have Notre Dame coming to town. Really looking forward to it. I'm checking something off the bucket list this week. Can't wait."

Just like those in College Station will be on Saturday, GameDay's Rece Davis shared his excitement as well.

"Going to be great to have Johnny Football with us Saturday morning!" Davis posted on his X account.

After having WWE Irish wrestler Sheamus as the first guest picker of the season last week, the show is returning to a former player this week with Manziel.

Even though he's a controversial figure, Manziel is still one of the most beloved players in Texas A&M football history. He completely rejuvenated the fanbase and made the Aggies a household name in the early 2010s with his electric and unorthodox style of play. In two seasons for Texas A&M, Manziel threw for 7,820 yards, 63 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions. He also rushed for 2,169 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Notre Dame and Texas A&M will kickoff this Saturday at 7:30 ET on ABC.
