This weekend is like Christmas for college football fans, as the long offseason is finally over and programs across the country will take the field for the first time.

For new ACC program, Stanford, they will be opening their season against a Big 12 foe in TCU. The two teams have only played three times before, and they each have a ton of questions surrounding them.

With a new season underway, Stanford opted to go with a new look, kind of. As revealed in a social media post on Wednesday, Stanford will be adding a twist to their traditional uniforms. Rather than going with the white helmet, red jersey and white pants, they will instead be rocking the white helmet, red jersey and pants. A look they teased with clips from EA Sports College Football 25.

According to the program's director of communications, Brian Brownfield, it'll be the first time they have worn red pants and a red jersey since 2011. It also marks just the third time in program history they've done so, and the first time it hasn't been against a rival as the other two appearances were against Cal (1989 & 93) and Notre Dame (2011).

According to ESPN, the Horned Frogs are 8-point favorites, and have a 57.4% chance of winning the game. Stanford is looking to pull off the upset and in style.
