Teams around the league have finalized their 53-man rosters for the 2024 season. However, the Tennessee Titans shared some insight on their final roster announcement on Thursday. The franchise ultimately went viral for telling several players they made the team.

General manager, Ran Carthon, and head coach Brian Callahan called Andrew Rupcich, David Martin-Robinson, Thomas Odukoya, John Ojukwu, and James Williams to the office to give them a talk. Each player stepped into the office looking incredibly nervous.

However, Carthon and Callahan told each player they're officially on the 53-man roster. The Titans even showed the general manager and head coach explaining why they each made the team.

Rupcich and Ojukwu make the final roster as a depth offensive linemen. They showcased consistency during the preseason and earned a spot on the offensive line.

Meanwhile, Martin-Robinson and Odukoya both make the team as tight ends. Odukoya turned heads after making a spectacular hustle play to stop a touchdown in the Titans' final preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. That play very well could have earned his spot on the roster, as Carthon explains to him that Saints fans loved Odukoya's efforts.

Lastly, Williams will remain on the roster as a linebacker providing necessary depth. Tennessee experience some injury woes during the preseason with linebackers Cedric Gray and Chance Campbell both on the injured reserve to begin the season.

This is a completely revamped Titans team heading into the 2024 season. After hiring Carthon as the new general manger before the 2023 season, he's already changed the entire roster.

Nearly no players drafted from 2020 to 2022 by former general manager, Jon Robinson, are on the team. Only five remain on the roster, those being guard Dillon Radunz, wide receiver Treylon Burks, cornerback Roger McCreary, offensive tackel, Nicholas Petit-Frere, and tight end Chig Okonkwo.

Of that group, Radunz and Petit-Frere are set to start on the right side of the offensive line. Meanwhile, Okonkwo will start at tight end but will likely be filtered in and out depending on the play call.

Meanwhile, McCreary is set to be the nickel corner with L'Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie playing on the outside. And lastly, Burks is marked as the wide receiver four on the roster. DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, and Tyler Boyd will be the Titans' top three pass catchers this season.

Tennessee kicks off the 2024 season on September 8 against the new-look Chicago Bears. It'll be a nice test for both franchises as they each aim to improve upon poor seasons last year.
