College Football Fans All Said The Same Thing About Colorado’s First Half Performance

    By J.C. Shelton,

The Colorado Buffaloes decided to give themselves a test when scheduling nine-time FCS national champion North Dakota State for Thursday's season opener.

But maybe not this much of a test.

Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are trailing the Bison 20-17 at the half following a first half of offensive fireworks. Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders looks like the best player on the field, racking up 254 yards and two touchdowns on 12-of-15 passing.

The Buffaloes' defense, however, seems like the same unit we witnessed a year ago. North Dakota State scored on its first four drives and seemingly had no issues in dicing up the defense in Boulder.

Colorado came into the game as an 11.5-point favorite, per ESPN bet. The underwhelming performance has left a mark on college football fans, who are seeing the same things out of Colorado as the 4-8 season a year ago.
