ESPN's In-Game Deion Sanders, Colorado Graphic Is Going Viral

The Colorado Buffaloes hosted the North Dakota State Bison in Week 1, securing a 31-26 victory over the Bison.

During the game, ESPN subtly attacked Colorado, mentioning that it hadn't won a game since Oct. 7, 2023, against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The graphic, which was quickly posted by a handful of accounts on social media, quickly went viral after being presented on television.

After a hot 3-0 start to the 2023 season, the Buffs lost eight of their last nine game games and finished with a 4-8 record.

Say what you will about Colorado struggling to put away an FCS program on Thursday night, but Deion Sanders and his quad are currently an undefeated program in 2024. And for what it's worth, NDSU entered the game as the No. 2 ranked program in the FCS.

The graphic hilariously read: "Has not won since October 7, 2023"

Fans quickly made jokes about ESPN's graphics team.

Following the matchup, ESPN previewed a different storyline for the Buffaloes. The announcers showed high praise for Sanders and the program, mentioning that the tide is changing in Boulder.

They finished the 2023-24 season with a 4-8 record in the first year under head coach Deion Sanders.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback/wide receiver hybrid Travis Hunter led the Buffaloes to the victory.

They both finished the game with video game stat lines. Sanders ended the contest with 445 yards and 4 touchdowns on 26 of 34 passing.

Hunter capped off the victory with three touchdowns, 132 yards and seven receptions.
