Deion Sanders' Blunt Response To Final Play Of Colorado vs. North Dakota State

Looking to win their first game since last October, the Colorado Buffaloes needed to stop North Dakota State one final time on Thursday, August 29.

With time running out in the fourth quarter and no timeouts, the Bison only had one option remaining with the ball at their 47, which was to take a shot at the end zone. For Colorado, all they had to do was to keep everything in front of them and hit the ball down. Something that didn't end up happening as the Bison connected on a 49-yard bomb, but luckily, the receiver ran into three defenders. The game ended with Colorado winning 31-26.

However, when talking about that final play after the game with ESPN's sideline reporter, Deion Sanders was not thrilled that his defensive backs tried to pick off the ball rather than hit it down. When asked for a reaction, Sanders revealed he was thinking some not-so-nice words in his head.

"You don't want to know," Sanders said. "I don't use profanity but I thought it."

For Sanders' squad, they secured their first win since October 7, 2023 and will now turn their attention to their biggest rival, Nebraska. The Buffs are set to hit the road and head to Lincoln next week in a game that the Corn Huskers are looking to get revenge in after last year's 36-14 bludgeoning.

While Sanders wasn't thrilled with his players at the very end, he does have to be delighted that his team squeaked out the win against a very talented Bison team.
