The Philadelphia Phillies (79-55) now hold a six-game lead over second place in the National League East division. With just 28 games remaining on the season, their lead is not quite safe yet, but it is a comfortable cushion for a seemingly easy September schedule.

While the Major League Phillies are busy gearing up for the 2024 playoffs, their minor league system continues to develop their top prospects. How have those prospects performed over the last week? To find out, let's take a trip down on the farm.

    (Rankings per MLB Pipeline )

Aidan Miller (#1 Prospect; #28 in MLB)

After a strong week leading into last week's prospect report, Miller's production slowed down this week for the High-A Jersey Shore Blue Claws. Playing in six games, Miller went 4-for-19 with three extra-base hits, one RBI, and two stolen bases while drawing four walks to only two strikeouts.

Miller's High-A line reads .248/.350/.429 with 22 extra-base hits, 31 RBI, and 12 stolen bases across 210 at-bats in 55 games. Only 20, it will be a surprise for Miller to be promoted to the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils before the end of the season.

Andrew Painter (#2 Prospect; #33 in MLB)

Painter continues to progress in his rehab from Tommy John surgery. He is throwing bullpen sessions in Clearwater, Florida. He will still not participate in a game this season.

Justin Crawford (#3 Prospect; #57 in MLB)

After a slow week last week, Crawford is back to his raking ways. Playing in five games, Crawford went 8-for-21 with two extra-base hits, one RBI, and three stolen bases. Crawford has batted .316/.362/.419 in 28 Double-A games with 10 extra-base hits, 17 RBI, and 12 stolen bases across 117 at-bats.

At the rate Crawford is hitting, it would not be surprising to see him start 2025 with the Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

Starlyn Caba (#4 Prospect; #88 in MLB)

Caba had his best week at the plate since his promotion to the Single-A Clearwater Threshers. Playing in four games, Caba went 5-for-18, though all of his hits were singles. Caba's week raises his Single-A line to .193/.313/.193 with 12 stolen bases across 83 at-bats in 22 games.
