The New York Knicks have one of the best lineups in the entire NBA, but the one position they could stand to work on is their center spot.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Greg Swartz , he lists who believes should be the top three trade targets for each team. For the Knicks, he thinks that they could bolster their center position by trading for Washington Wizards big man Jonas Valanciunas.

"Valančiūnas signed a three-year contract with the Wizards, although his actual time in the nation's capital could be closer to three months," Swartz writes. "The veteran center got his money and will almost certainly be moved to a contender before the Feb. 6 deadline. The Knicks could use his rebounding, screening and toughness either as a starter or backup to Robinson."

Mitchell Robinson has been solid for the Knicks when he has been on the floor, but that is the main problem, as he has been injured a lot the past several seasons.

If the Knicks decide they want some insurance in the middle, then trading for Valanciunas could be an intriguing idea. The big man averaged 12 points and grabbed just under nine rebounds per game on 56 percent shooting from the field, as he provided a solid backup scoring option for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Knicks could stick with the lineup they have, as it is one of the best league in the league, but trading for another center could be something for the team to think about.
