Nick Saban Puts Big Ten Powerhouse on Upset Alert Before Tough Road Game

    By Cole Sullivan,

Legendary college football head coach Nick Saban appeared on the Pat McAfee show live from Morgantown, West Virginia, Friday afternoon, and Saban made it very clear which team should be put on upset alert heading entering Saturday's slate of games.

Head coach Neal Brown has West Virginia thriving entering the year and with the experience that quarterback Garrett Greene brings to the table with strong skill position players, Penn State must be ready when entering Milan Puskar Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Saban broke down what West Virginia does extremely well and highlighted that it is one of the toughest places to play in the country, which should concern Nittany Lions fans.

"Morgantown is a hard place to play and the fans there have great passion. It's gonna be very difficult for Penn State especially because it's the opener" Saban said.

The Nittany Lions defense is legitimate, and they have a star quarterback on their end, Drew Allar , who is returning from last season. Penn State is no slouch, and West Virginia will need to play near-perfect football to pull the upset, however, Saban believes it's very possible.

Garrett Greene will be the x-factor for the Mountaineers. Last season, the West Virginia quarterback totaled 29 touchdowns, throwing for 2,406 yards, and rushing for 708 yards on the ground.
