Colorado Star Travis Hunter Has Perfect Response to LeBron James

Travis Hunter took to social media to express his gratitude to NBA superstar LeBron James, who showed significant support for Colorado during their season-opening 31-26 victory over NDSU.

James was live-tweeting along with the action, showing particularly strong support for Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

"Shedeur to Hunter for 6! Going to be seeing and hearing that a lot this season i bet!" James wrote after Colorado's first touchdown.

James's assessment was good, considering Sanders and Hunter connected two more times in the matchup for scores. Sanders finished with 445 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Hunter, who also started at corner, caught seven passes for 132 yards and three touchdowns.

Hunter's final touchdown grab, basically through a defender, drew a reaction from James.

"MAN TRAVIS HUNTER IS RIDICULOUS!!!!! WOW," James wrote.

Hunter responded to the tweet with some love for James, acknowledging him as the greatest of all time.

Hunter's final touchdown grab gave Colorado some breathing room, putting the Buffalos up 31-20 in the fourth quarter. He asked for the ball on third down at the goal line and would not be denied.

"I just had a lot of confidence in myself," Hunter said. "I told my coach, 'Third down, give me the ball, we gonna win this game. We gonna get up outta here. And I did what I had to do: catch the ball, get a touchdown, and let's go."

Hunter, Sanders and Colorado will face a more challenging test next week when they travel to Nebraska.
