College football analyst David Pollack came out firing hot takes in his YouTube video previewing the Notre Dame at Texas A&M matchup this weekend.

Pollack broke down both clubs extensively, professing his respect for Mike Elko, while laying out the cold hard facts about Notre Dame's shot at the playoff given its schedule. He had an ace up his sleeve with the A&M commentary, though, and revealed some lofty expectations for Aggie quarterback Conner Weigman.

"People are going to do breakdowns on Conner Weigman," said Pollack. "They're going to show you his pocket presence and his mobility in the pocket. He feels rushers, it's innate, it's a natural feel that you can't give to somebody, you can't teach."

If the pieces gel together on the offensive side of the ball, Pollack believes Elko has a future pro under center.

"If this offensive side of the football gets organized, and the playmakers that I know that they have, you just watch out for Conner Weigman," he added, tacking on his scalding hot take.

"He's going to soar up the charts and he might be a guy that we're talking about — is he the No. 1 pick in the draft?" Pollack wonders. "Is he the first quarterback taken? Like, that's what kind of talent he's got."

With that last line, Pollack's video cut to black, and boy that's a way to go out with a bang. A&M fans had to be fired up after that passionate support from a former college football star himself.
