Angel Reese Dazzles in Commercial for New Movie

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is continuing to expand her brand, and it's now coming close to reaching the big screen.

While Reese is preparing for a big game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Friday night, a new commercial with the former LSU star has hit the airwaves, promoting the upcoming movie "Wicked."

Reese is not expected to be in the movie, but she is helping promote it all the same, voicing over a video of herself walking onto the court and ignoring outside noise before knocking down a three-pointer in front of the paparazzi.

What does Reese and basketball have to do with the movie? That much is unclear, but she is part of the promo nonetheless.

It's not surprising to see Reese being marketed as one of the biggest names in the WNBA right now, as the rookie is in the midst of a historic season, setting records for her rebounding and double-double performances.

On Friday night, the Sky have a big game against the Fever, where they will look to win and stay in the playoff hunt going forward. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ION.
