The Oregon Duck Spins an O-Shaped Cookie on the Big Ten Lawn

"Big Ten, it's an honor to be here."

In a new promotional video that opens with the strains of "Claire de Lune" by Debussy and an old man patiently trimming the grass of a hallowed Big Ten venue The Duck comes riding in on a Harley, spinning an O-shaped cookie at midfield.

It's a cheeky way of saying, "hello, we're here, and we don't give a duck's fart about all your tradition.

Oregon's irreverent mascot likes to put a stamp on things, like the time he came out in giant sunglasses for the Colorado game, an oversized pocket watch draped over his chest in a cheeky poke at the Buffaloes and the flamboyant Sanders clan.

Or the time he watched the game in a lawn chair with a bowl of popcorn next to a cutout of Justin Bieber.

While Oregon has always respected competition and pride in performance, The Duck is here to remind us never to take things too seriously.
