    Josh Hart Embarrasses Jalen Brunson

    By Lance Roberson,

The latest Roommates Show, co-hosted by Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, included numerous memorable moments. One of the more entertaining segments featured Mark Cuban revealing the conversation around Brunson during the 2018 NBA Draft. Although he eventually signed with the New York Knicks, Brunson's journey with the Dallas Mavericks was necessary.

Hart, one to tease Knicks teammates, doesn't discriminate who will receive the wrath of a joke, star or not; even Brunson can't escape Hart's pranks. Without hesitation, Hart asked Cuban a question worthy of laughter.

"Why'd you guys draft JB? The little fatheaded kid from Villanova," Hart asked Cuban.

Brunson couldn't help but react to such a question. The Knicks All-Star guard buried his head after uttering "Oh, Lord."

Naturally, Cuban responded to Hart's question with an unintentionally humourous response.

"So we pick Luka, traded up to get Luka. We get to 31, and there's all the scouts that are like JB, JB, JB. He's a winner.. Little bit chubby, not quite as fast," Cuban said. "He's not super athletic, but he's a winner; he's a champion. You can't put a value on that. That's our guy."

Brunson won two NCAA championships with Villanova under Jay Wright. In the past ten years, the prestigious Big East program has produced quality NBA players.

Ironically, four play for the Knicks: Brunson, Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, and Mikal Bridges.

Despite Brunson's short, stocky stature, the bulldog-framed point guard efficiently bullies his way into the paint. Thankfully, for the Knicks' sake, Dallas drafted Brunson.

Considering the "fallout" from the 2022 NBA free agency, it's refreshing to see Brunson and Cuban interact positively.
