The Philadelphia Eagles open their season next Friday against the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Eagles offense could be facing former safety Jalen Mills in that contest.

According to Bleacher Report, the Packers could be a possible landing spot for the Super Bowl winning safety.

"Jalen Mills was released from the non-football injury list by the Giants on August 15. He never participated in camp for New York because of a calf issue, but he's worth a look now," Bleacher Report said.

"The converted cornerback appeared in 17 games with eight starts for the Patriots last season and recorded 45 tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass deflection.”

The Packers are always looking for talented secondary help. They signed former Giants safety Xavier McKinney in free agency to replace Darnell Savage.

"The Packers could use help at safety, even though they added Xavier McKinney in free agency and used a second-round pick on Georgia's Javon Bullard,” Bleacher Report continued. “The rookie impressed during training camp, but it couldn't hurt to add a little more experience behind him, McKinney and fourth-round rookie Evan Williams.”

Green Bay, much like the Eagles, is looking to make a Super Bowl run this year. Mills to the Packers might make sense.

The two teams clash in the first ever game played in South America next Friday, Sept. 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. EDT.
