The St. Louis Cardinals (67-67) are coming off a series split with the San Diego Padres at Busch Stadium to begin the week. They will now head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Yankees for a three game slate over the weekend.

Friday, August 30th: Erick Fedde vs. Marcus Stroman

The Cardinals will go with Erick Fedde (8-7, 3.31 ERA) for the first start of the series. He is coming off a quality start against the Minnesota Twins going six innings and only allowing two runs. It was his best start on the road since being traded to St. Louis at the MLB Trade Deadline.

The Yankees will start Marcus Stroman (9-6, 3.88 ERA) on Friday in the Bronx. Stroman has struggled this season at Yankee Stadium, posting a 5.09 ERA across 13 starts. 15 of the 18 home runs allowed by Stroman this season have come at Yankee Stadium.
