Steve Sarkisian's last three full recruiting cycles at Texas have ended with a top-five class in the nation.

Sarkisian's best cycle was in 2023 when he landed the No. 3 class headlined by five-star quarterback Arch Manning, five-star linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., and five-star running back Cedric Baxter. Each of the three are crucial pieces to Texas' roster and have extremely high potential in Austin.

Could Texas repeat the same success in 2025? It's certainly possible as the Longhorns already hold verbal commitments from three five-star players in safety Jonah Williams and wide receivers Kaliq Lockett and Jaime Ffrench.

After Texas landed a commitment from Ffrench on Friday morning, its 2025 recruiting class jumped into the top-10 in the country. The Longhorns currently own the No. 7 class in 247Sports' ranking, trailing Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee.

Several other targets could join the class in the near future. Texas is anxiously waiting the decision of five-star Michael Terry III , the No. 1 athlete in the nation. The Longhorns are viewed as the leader in Terry's recruitment, but no commitment date is set at this time.

Texas will hope to impress recruits and live up to the hype in the season opener against Colorado State on Saturday, Aug. 31.
