    Phillies Look to Capitalize on Last Night's Momentum Against Braves

    The Philadelphia Phillies (79-55) are riding high after a come-from-behind victory over the Atlanta Braves (73-61) last night. The Phillies will be looking to build on that momentum and extend their division lead even further with another victory over the Braves tonight.

    On the mound for the Phillies will be Ranger Suarez (11-5, 2.82 ERA). In his last start, Suarez allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out six in five innings. This will be Suarez's third start against the Braves this season.

    In his first two starts against the Braves this season, Suarez allowed a combined eight earned runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out 14 in 10 innings.

    The Braves will counter with Reynaldo Lopez (7-4, 2.02 ERA). In his last start, he allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out seven in six innings. Friday will be Lopez's third start since returning from the injured list. He has pitched to a 1.64 ERA across 11 innings with 17 strikeouts through the first two.

    The first pitch for Friday's game is scheduled for 6:40 PM EST. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia and Bally Sports Southeast.
