Aliyah Boston's Indiana Fever Role Had Caitlin Clark 'Crying'

Caitlin Clark might be playing like she has been in the league for years, but the Indiana Fever rookie is only 22 and still loves a good laugh.

Since being picked fourth overall by the Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark has quickly become a fan favorite. With all the media buzz and her growing popularity, it’s no surprise that memes are starting to pop up.

One thing fans have noticed is how Aliyah Boston, a forward for the Fever, often steps in to keep Clark calm during games. Whether it’s lifting her chin after a tough call or stopping her from getting into it with an opponent, Boston has been there.

OvertimeWBB recently highlighted how Boston is helping Clark, sharing a fan's tweet on Instagram, jokingly calling Boston the “Head of the Caitlin Clark De-Escalation Committee.”

    Apparently, Clark loved the joke.

"I'm cryinggg, ab is my girl," she commented.

Clark is currently averaging 18.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and a league-best 8.1 assists per game. Additionally, she recently set a new WNBA 3-point record for a rookie, surpassing Rhyne Howard's mark (85).

If the season ended today, the Fever would hold the seventh seed in the WNBA playoffs. At 15 wins and 16 losses, they are only half a game behind the Phoenix Mercury for sixth.
