    Stephen Curry Lets Contract Talk

    By Lance Roberson,

Social media activity, or lack thereof, weighs heavily in a person's analysis. What you do on social media likely will make its way to your employer or, in sports players' cases, their fans. Stephen Curry recently edited his Instagram in a way that flustered some Golden State Warriors fans. Curry recently confirmed the fans were wrong for worrying.

Curry changed his Instagram bio to say "Olympic gold medalist" instead of mentioning the Warriors. Moreover, Curry switched his Warriors-related profile picture with an image of him holding an American flag and wearing a Team USA jersey during the Paris Olympics.

Although Curry doesn't have a history of trade rumors or even the slight mention of shaking up the Warriors' roster, his offseason commentary on not wanting to play for a mediocre roster rang bells. Perhaps Curry's gold-medal victory pushed the four-time NBA champion over the edge, as it did LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

However, Curry doesn't move like either of his Team USA comrades.

The superstar point guard assured the Warriors fans he has no plans to leave.

Bloomberg's Emily Chang interviewed Stephen and Ayesha at a golf course on Friday. During the video, Curry revealed why he took the Warriors off his Instagram bio. "I'm just proud to be an Olympian," Curry said.

Curry signed a one-year, $62.5 million contract with the Warriors. Unless Curry has a drastic change of heart, he's committed to the Warriors until the summer of 2027.
