Texas' highest rated commit in its 2025 recruiting class had a fantastic start to his senior season.

Five-star safety Jonah Williams was all over the field for Ball High School on Thursday evening. The Galveston (TX) native ended the night with five total touchdowns including two reception touchdowns, two rush touchdowns and a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Williams also added a blocked point after attempt, six tackles and two pass breakups in Ball High School's 54-26 win over Manvel.

The do-it-all athlete will play safety at the collegiate level. Williams is ranked the No. 1 safety in the nation for the 2025 recruiting class and No. 3 overall prospect in Texas, according to 247Sports composite.

In 2023, Williams recorded 54 tackles, four tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, one forced fumble and four interceptions.

Texas will host Williams for another visit during the Georgia game on Oct. 19. It's crucial for the Longhorns to secure his signature on during the early signing period in December.
