The Super-sized opening weekend of College Football continues tonight with six games on the schedule, all televised.

In Norman, Oklahoma in a half hour Jackson Arnold debuts as the new signal caller for the Oklahoma Sooners, taking over from Dillon Gabriel who transferred to Oregon where he takes the stage tomorrow.

The 16th-ranked Sooners tune up with Temple, losers in four of their last five last season and 3-9 overall. The Sooners are favored by 43. The Owls lost prolific passer E.J. Warner, who transferred to Rice. They return just two starters on defense from a team that intercepted just three passes all last season while recovering only two fumbles.

The Owls anemic offense eked out just 21 points a game last season and 95.7 rushing yards a game. Arnold should feast. This game has a watchability rating of 2. No one except diehard Boomer Sooner fans should watch beyond the wagon storming the field.

Michigan State hosts Florida Atlantic in new coach Jonathan Smith's debut as Spartan coach, Aiden Chiles as the new quarterback. The Spartans come to Eugen on October 4th. Tonight's game kicks off at 4:00 on the Big Ten Network.

Wisconsin plays Western Michigan in Camp Randall at 6:00 P.M. Pacific. Luke Fickell's named Miami transfer Tyler Van Dyke to pilot his Air Raid offense, something weird to see at Wisconsin. That game's on FS1.

In the nightcap, a tribute to the old "PAC-12 After Dark" tradition, TCU meets Stanford in Palo Alto, 7:30 on ESPN. Ashton Daniels got the quarterback nod on The Farm. He has a couple of good receivers in Elic Ayomanor and Tiger Bachmeier.
