On Thursday night, Colorado star Travis Hunter impressed fans not only with his stat line but also with his insane touchdown catch. His quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, didn't need many words to describe it.

The Buffaloes pulled off a 31-26 win over North Dakota State in a game that the whole country was tuned into. The Bison, who have won nine FCS national championships since 2011, were expected to give Colorado a tough fight.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, but when it came down to it, the duo of Hunter and Sanders made all the difference.

Hunter racked up seven receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns. Despite playing both offense and defense, he only missed two plays the entire game. Meanwhile, Sanders was just as impressive, throwing for 445 yards, four touchdowns, and only one interception.

After taking a day to process the victory, Sanders reflected on Hunter’s third touchdown catch Friday afternoon.

"Legendary," Sanders said in his post on X.

Both players have been an inseparable duo since their days at Jackson State. Their journey together started there, and when Deion Sanders, Shedeur’s father, was named head coach at Colorado in 2023, they both made the move to continue their careers in Boulder.

Both Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are projected to be top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Many expect them to be selected in the top ten, if not the top five.
