Why Brazil? Latest Announcements Offers Little Assurances for Eagles in Week 1

Things haven't been off to a great start for the NFL leading into their first game in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

The latest news might just be the next nail for the league to realize not every international venue is worthy or safe enough to handle the complexity of an NFL contest.

Whether it was A.J. Brown or C.J. Gardner-Johnson's announcements of strict rules the Eagles have for their roster going into the week of their Brazil contest against the Green Bay Packers, or the fact that a ban on the color green has pushed the Eagles to try a new look for their team overall, the many rules and regulations surrounding Brazil appears to be an unnecessary stress for players and teams across the NFL.

League executives have been looking to enhance the team's international blueprint over the years with games in Germany and England.

The issue is that their push for more international fans means putting two organizations in the middle of a time of increased gang violence in the country.

Brown and plenty of players on the Eagles may be focused solely on the game itself, but it is clear that the team needs to make sure they get back in one piece as well.

And it's not exactly a good update that the league seems undisturbed by the gang violence in Sao Paolo.
