What Is Best Way for Jets Offense to Attack 49ers Defense?

Over the last three seasons, it hasn't mattered who was calling plays, the San Francisco 49ers had one of the elite defenses in the NFL today.

So what can a team like the New York Jets do on opening day to minimize San Fran's talent on the defensive end? While previous years would tout this matchup as a bad omen for New York, a healthy roster and improved talent have seemingly shifted the balance of power there.

For starters, All-Pro Aaron Rodgers is back and healthy as the starting quarterback for New York. Making things even easier for the offense is a revamped line with top players like Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses on the roster as well.

So when it comes to the Jets offense, they certainly have the horses to compete in Week 1.

But what do they need to do to consistently attack and succeed against the 49ers?

While most numbers from San Fran's defense were in the top 15 last season, New York should be able to see if they can exploit a banged-up secondary that finished 14th last season in yards given up but also have Talanoa Hufanga still recovering from his injury last season.

If the Jets can move the ball through the air consistently, the Jets offense could be unstoppable in Week 1.
