Jeremy Sochan is one of the more colorful players in the NBA and has endeared himself among fans of the San Antonio Spurs for his on-court antics, his social media presence, and his flashy hair. Unfortunately, his 21-year-old recklessness got the better of him, as he appeared to crash his Porsche 911, according to TMZ .

Luckily, no other cars were involved in the accident, and no one was harmed. San Antonio police were called to the scene, but no charges have been filed.

Sochan averaged 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists for the Spurs last season and cemented himself as a key part of the youth movement in San Antonio.

The car accident, which happened on I-10, involved his 2019 Porshe 911, with a retail base value of $240,000. Fortunately, the damage seemed fixable, although Sochan might opt to take Ubers for the next few weeks. SAPD cited excessive speed as a likely reason for the crash, although alcohol does not appear to have been involved, and no substances were reported to have been found in the vehicle.

It can't be overstated how fortunate Sochan, and by extension, the Spurs, are that there is no criminal liability or any injuries, aside from the likely mental toll a car accident can have. While it appears that Sochan might be at fault for the accident, charges are unlikely to be filed.

The San Antonio Spurs and Sochan are yet to release a statement about the accident and given that no one was hurt, it's likely to stay that way.
