LeBron James Backs Caitlin Clark After Career Night With 4-Word Message

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James showed his support for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark after she scored a career-high 31 points in a victory against the Chicago Sky on Friday night.

James took to social media after Clark's big performance with an emphatic four-word message.

CAITLIN CLARK!!!!! HI HATERS," James wrote on X.

Clark went 8 of 14 from the field and hit 5 of 9 of her 3-point attempts. She also hit 10 of 11 free throws. For good measure, Clark added 12 assists and four rebounds.

It's not the first time James has shown support for Clark. In May, during his now-defunct "Mind The Game" podcast with J.J. Redick, James spoke about the impact Clark is making and some of the criticism she's faced.

"Don't get it twisted, don't get it f---ed up," James said . "Caitlin Clark is the reason why a lot of great things are gonna happen for the WNBA.

"I'm rooting for Caitlin because I've been in that seat before, I've walked that road before. I hope she kills, I hope [Fever teammate] Aliyah Boston does amazing. I hope they do great."

James wasn't the only one cheering on Clark during her big night. The Sky crowd also gave the superstar rookie a standing ovation on her way off the court.

Perhaps even more importantly, Clark and the Fever are one of the hottest teams in the WNBA since the Olympic break. Indiana moved to 16-16 after the victory against the Sky.
