Former NFL superstar and Wisconsin standout J.J. Watt is not a fan of how long halftime is in college football.

Watt shared his opinion while watching the Badgers' opener on Friday against Western Michigan.

"College halftime is too long," Watt wrote on X .

Fans in the comments agreed with Watt's take, wanting teams to get back to the action sooner.

"Okay I’m not crazy. I was sitting there towards the tail end wondering if something happened," a fan responded . "Nope just a long halftime!"

Halftime in college football is around 20 minutes, which is longer than the 12-13-minute break in the NFL. Halftime in college games are typically longer so that bands from both schools can play.

Watt might have been feeling anxious about Wisconsin's close contest with the Broncos. Wisconsin entered the matchup with Western Michigan as a 24.5-point favorite but led by just a field goal at the half.
