Fans Saying the Same Thing About Caitlin Clark's Viral Sue Bird Moment After Fever-Sky

Friday's highly anticipated showdown between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky drew out some of the biggest names to the Wintrust Arena. This included WNBA legend Sue Bird, who watched the game alongside American soccer icon and fiancé Megan Rapinoe.

Unfortunately for the home fans in attendance, the Sky fell way short, as they suffered a deflating 100-81 loss against a surging Fever side. Supporters who came to see Caitlin Clark, however, were anything but disappointed.

The Indiana superstar wowed the fans with another incredible performance, dropping a 31-point, 12-assist double-double with five triples -- a stat line that has never been achieved in the history of the WNBA.

After the win, Clark made sure to pay homage to the legends that came to support her.

Unsurprisingly, the photos quickly went viral, garnering close to 60,000 views in less than 12 hours (as of writing).

It was great to see Bird, in particular, congratulating Clark after another incredible outing from the 22-year-old. The fans on X, formerly Twitter, seem to agree.

"Woooo ‘keep sue fresh’ goat on goat!," said a supporter.

As you may have noticed, there's an underlying sentiment here from the fans. While it's way too early in her career to crown Clark as the GOAT, it's hard to deny that she's well on her way to becoming one of the greatest WNBA players of all time.
