Caitlin Clark's Triumph Captivates Vanessa And The Bryant Family

Indiana Fever star rookie Caitlin Clark captured the attention of many after a massive performance Friday night against the Chicago Sky , but one was the wife of the late Kobe Bryant , Vanessa.

Clark went head-to-head with Angel Reese and did everything she could to wrap up any rookie of the year conversations after being the best player on the basketball court.

The Fever have now won five out of their last six, are in firm playoff contention, and are back to .500 after starting the season 1-8. But now, her epic performance and her fantastic sneaker game caught the eyes of the Bryant's.

She was rocking the new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE Friday night in their win over the Sky.

She posted a picture of Clark on her Instagram story and highlighted the fact that she was wearing Kobe's Nike sneakers, which she usually does. One thing about Clark, even dating back to college, is that she always has worn Kobe's when on the basketball court.

Clark scored 31 points Friday night, doing her best impression of Kobe. She added 12 assists and knocked down five three-pointers in the process.

On the season, she is averaging 18.4 points, 8.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals. She leads all rookies in points, assists, steals, field goals made, true shooting percentage, and free throw percentage.

Her incredible season has caught the eyes of so many legendary people in the sports world, and with eight games remaining, she has the Fever on pace to end a seven-year playoff drought.
