Lee Corso is back for his 38th season with ESPN's "College GameDay." Posted up in College Station ahead of Week 1's Notre Dame vs. Texas A&M matchup, Corso made his debut this season after missing Week Zero, where the show was hosted in Dublin, Ireland.

With the 2024 season underway, Corso caught up with his longtime friend Kirk Herbstreit prior to the start of "College GameDay."

It's a tradition that Herbstreit started with Corso last season: The two meet privately off the set to discuss the day's biggest games, catch up and make some predictions. In Saturday's case, those predictions included some big, season-wide ones.

Corso made a few picks. He said that he doesn't think there will be a single undefeated team this season, which hardly ever happens in college football.

He also locked in his pick for this season's Heisman Trophy winner.

The favorite for the trophy entering Week 1 is Oregon Ducks' quarterback Dillon Gabriel, followed by Georgia Bulldogs' passer Carson Beck. Ohio State's Will Howard, Texas' Quinn Ewers and Colorado's duo of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are all other contenders for the prestigious award.

However, Corso is rolling with the favorite: Oregon's Dillon Gabriel.

"Dillon Gabriel. Quarterback at Oregon. Heisman winner," Corso told Herbstreit.

Gabriel began his career at UCF before transferring to Oklahoma. Last season with the Sooners, Gabriel threw for 3,660 yards, 30 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

2024 will be his sixth season of college football, so he's certainly experienced.

The 23-year-old quarterback out of Mililani, Hawaii, was a three-star recruit in the class of 2019.
