Legendary college football coach Nick Saban might have just broken the internet according to “College GameDay” co-host Kirk Herbstreit after dropping an epic line on the set in College Station, Texas.

The newest addition to the "College GameDay" crew passed along some wisdom that might go down in show history following a conversation about the massive investments the Ohio State Buckeyes made in pursuit of one of the most talented rosters in the country. Saban spent decades competing against Ohio State to build equally elite rosters with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Even though NIL has changed the way coaches go after players, Saban says it’s not all about money if you don’t pick the right guys.

“I just want to say, you guys keep talking about a $20 million roster. If you don’t pay the right guys you’ll be s**t out of luck,” Saban admitted on “College GameDay”.

The response completely shattered the serious tone of the broadcast up to that point as Saban’s realness dropped on the panel like a ton of bricks. Herbstreit couldn’t keep it together while trying to process what he just heard from the legendary former head coach.

“Congratulations, you just broke the internet,” Herbstreit said to Saban while shaking his hand in confirmation.

Saban’s great point about how a championship roster comes together might have been lost by his way of delivering it, but he nonetheless delivered an iconic moment in the Week 1 "College GameDay" broadcast, and the second of his career post-coaching.
