Tim Tebow Names Best Quarterback In College Football

The Georgia Bulldogs have once again secured the top spot in the preseason rankings. They have clinched two of the last three national championships and held the No. 1 position for much of last season. However, their shot at a three-peat was cut short when they lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game.

Now, the Bulldogs are back and hoping for another national championship push. They start off with a game against the Clemson Tigers. On Saturday's "SEC Nation," Tim Tebow said he thinks Georgia is under pressure to win that game because of what happened last season. He also believes they have the quarterback to do it, calling Carson Beck the best quarterback in the country.

"I think the pressure is on Georgia," Tebow said. "I do think Carson's the best quarterback in the country."

Beck had an outstanding first season as the Bulldogs' quarterback. He completed 72.4% of his passes for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns and only six interceptions. As a result, he is now considered one of the top contenders for the Heisman Trophy and a potential top pick in the NFL draft next season.

If he has another strong season, he hopes to lead Georgia to its third title in four seasons and become the first 12-team College Football Playoff champion.
