Sometimes college football crowds get a little too rowdy for TV and that’s what happened following MGK’s performance in front of hundreds of West Virginia Mountaineer fans during Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff. Fans in Morgantown, WV are notorious for being some of the most electric and passionate tailgaters in the country.

Few places go as hard on a Saturday as West Virginia's campus and they showed why after MGK played his new song which draws inspiration and melodies from John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads”. Instead of dealing with a massive FCC violation, the Fox broadcast decided to cut the audio when Mountaineer fans started cheering “F*** Penn State”.

There’s nothing that will excite a crowd in Morgantown like a rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, but this one might have gotten them a little too excited.

Some fans were unsure what to expect from the punk/hip hop star's performance, but it ended up being a hit among fans, including one who cried tears of joy from the front row.

The Mountaineers are looking for revenge against the Nittany Lions after getting shutout 31-0 on the road last year. Kickoff is set for noon ET, Aug. 31st on Fox.
