Angel Reese Faces Serious Pushback For Promoting Movie After Losing to Caitlin Clark, Fever

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese's Friday night didn't go as planned after losing to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever 100-81. Since then, Reese has now faced some serious pushback after promoting a movie just hours after the loss.

Reese has debuted some new endeavors from a business aspect in her career. A podcast, some collaborations, and promotion of an upcoming movie that she has brought to X over the last few days.

However, WNBA fans were quick to respond to her after posting about the movie just a few hours after a poor performance against Indiana.

" You lost 5 games in a row, Barbie. With the next two against top tier competition. Stop with the promotions and get in the gym."

While fans remained harsh, she still has a life outside of basketball. However, she struggled Friday night. Reese shot 4-9 for 10 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.

While Clark erupted for 31 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds, while knocking down five out of nine three point attempts. She may have just closed the door on whatever rookie of the year race was still plausible.
