Kirk Herbstreit's Week 1 Florida State Prediction on College GameDay

One of the burning questions entering Saturday's slate of college football action is how No. 10 Florida State will play against Boston College following its upset loss to unranked Georgia Tech in Week Zero.

The Yellow Jackets gave the Seminoles' defense a lot of issues with the running ability of quarterback Haynes King.

ESPN "College GameDay" host Kirk Herbstreit made his opinion known on Saturday's show, pointing towards a similar ability by Boston College's Thomas Castellanos.

He believes Castellanos will threaten FSU in the same way, but Herbstreit likes the Seminoles to bounce back.

"I think Florida State, having that week to learn from mistakes, they come back," Herbstreit said. "But be careful of Boston College, they are not a team to take lightly with Bill O’Brien now there as the head coach."

Boston College is in the first year of the Bill O'Brien-era. The former Penn State and NFL head coach brings a lot of experience to the Eagles, a team that came within two points of FSU a year ago.

This could be a much closer matchup than Florida State fans want.

Kickoff is set for Monday, Sept. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium (ESPN).
