Eagles All-Time Leading Rusher Crushed for College Football Take

Shedeur Sanders has entered the 2024 college football season as a favorite to be one of the first quarterbacks drafted in 2025.

As the Colorado starting quarterback prepares for his second season with the program, there's one NFL analyst who believes he's done enough to be named the top signal-caller in the country.

After throwing for 445 yards and four touchdowns in their season-opening win over the North Dakota State Bison, FS1 analyst and former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro LeSean McCoy believes the debate surrounding Sanders has ended.

"Shedeur Sanders BEST QB in NCAA…seriously I can’t name another," McCoy tweeted.

McCoy's comments coming after the Buffaloes opening the season against one of the top teams in the FCS had plenty of comments and questions surrounding how Sanders' performance should be seen based on the fact he did not play top competition.

Sanders and the Buffaloes will have a tough contest next week when Colorado faces off against Nebraska. Should his play continue to be excellent, though, there may be more people agreeing with McCoy in the end.

It'll still take time, though.
