Lee Corso Picks Unreal Week 1 Upset In College Football

Longtime ESPN College GameDay analyst Lee Corso picked one major upset ahead of Week 1 in College Football that the rest of the panel was shocked by.

Corso is known for his legendary picks, especially the ones that include the head gear. While most of his picks were chalk, he had a clear opinion on the Virginia Tech , Vanderbilt matchup.

The Commodores opened as 13.5-point underdogs according to DraftKings Sportsbook , but Corso not only picked Vanderbilt to cover the spread but also win the game outright in shocking fashion.

Everyone else picked Virginia Tech without a second thought, but Corso had other plans. Vanderbilt is looking to finally take a step forward in the SEC, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

Vanderbilt is still projected to finish at the bottom of the conference, but Clark Lea is trying to turn this program around.

Virginia Tech, on the other hand, is returning the bulk of their roster. Quarterback Kyron Drones leads the way, and he returned his most targeted wide receivers last season.

Nontheless, there could be upset brewing, and this would not be the way the Hokies want to start a season full of expectations.
