No. 1 Georgia is without starting running back Trevor Etienne versus No. 14 Clemson in Atlanta. The Florida transfer is missing the game due to suspension for an offseason arrest.

Kirby Smart did not provide any details on the matter during the week and Etienne's status was unknown until shortly before kickoff. The ninth-year head coach did provide some information to ESPN sideline reporter Molly McGrath on gameday.

“When we asked Kirby Smart if this would be a one-game suspension for Trevor Etienne, he said, ‘Not necessarily.' So the length of this suspension is still unclear," McGrath said on the ABC broadcast.

The UGA Athletic Department requires a one-game suspension for a situation like Etienne's. That was common knowledge headed into the game and why Etienne was doubtful for the contest.

Additionally, UGA is missing its third-leading returning rusher in sophomore Roderick Robinson, who is out after undergoing toe surgery in fall camp. Georgia is relying on redshirt sophomore Branson Robinson, walk-on junior Cash Jones and true freshman Nate Frazier.

If it happened in the spring then his suspension should be clear and without ambiguity. Maybe there are new issues ?
