Nick Saban enjoyed a sweet stateside debut on Week 1's episode of "College GameDay" as the crew went to Texas A&M for their matchup vs. Notre Dame.

As part of the festivities and before the actual show began Saturday morning, Saban and everyone else sang along with the great John Denver, belting out his timeless classic, "Take Me Home, Country Roads." That was a dream come true for Nick Saban.

His own daughter also found the "Country Roads" sing-a-long to be a nice moment, and she had a touching note on her father's performance after Rece Davis posted it to his Instagram page.

"This is adorable," said Kristen Saban in the replies. "I die."

That's not the first time this weekend, Saban has taken part in a performance of the John Denver hit. On Friday, he joined the Pat McAfee Show, which was live from Morgantown, WV, where thousands of Mountaineer supporters gathered in sweltering heat to watch.

"Tell them all, we're still singing 'Country Roads' man," said Saban.

With that comment, the crowd erupted into song...

Country roads, take me home, to the place," they sang. "I belong, West Virginia, mountain mama. Take me home, country roads."

That 53-year-old piece of artistic perfection just never gets old, does it? A West Virginia man himself, Nick Saban probably never gets tired of this tune.
