On Saturday afternoon, freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola and the Nebraska Cornhuskers went up against the UTEP Miners at Memorial Stadium.

It didn't take long for the top-ranked 2024 prospect to get going as he guided Nebraska to a touchdown on the first drive of his college career. In the six-minute possession, Raiola completed five of his seven passing attempts for 54 yards, including one incredible Patrick Mahomes-esque pass.

On 3rd-and-11 at the UTEP 36-yard line, Raiola snapped the ball from shotgun formation. As pressure started coming in from the defense, Raiola stepped up and slung a side-armed pass to wide receiver Isaiah Neyor for 16 yards and a first down.
