Indiana Fever Get Important Update For Dallas Wings Game

Caitlin Clark has the Indiana Fever as one of the hottest teams in the WNBA, winning five of their last six games following the Olympic break.

On Friday, Indiana defeated Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, 100-81, moving them past the Phoenix Mercury in the standings and to the sixth seed in the playoffs.

For the majority of the season, the Fever have had a player on the injury report for every game, most notably Temi Fagbenle, who missed an extended period of time with two separate injuries throughout the year.

Against the Sky, the Fever's status report was clean with no injuries, one of the few times this has happened for them all season.

For the upcoming game on Sunday, September 1, against the Dallas Wings, the injury report is blank once again, according to ClutchPoints beat reporter Matthew Byrne.

Fagbenle has missed over half of the Fever's 32 games this season and made her return from her most recent injury on August 24 against the Minnesota Lynx.

One game later, vs. the Atlanta Dream, Katie Lou Samuelson took herself out of the game because she wasn't feeling well. Samuelson missed the following game on August 28 against the Sun.

The Fever have battled the Wings just once this season, losing just before the 2024 WNBA All-Star game by a final score of 101-93. In that contest, Clark broke the WNBA single-game record assist record with 19.
