It's safe to say the MLB absolutely loved Simone Biles' ceremonial first pitch before the Houston Astros-Kansas City Royals game on Friday, August 30.

For those who missed it, after Biles threw the first pitch, she struck a gymnastics salute to cap off her performance. It was definitely a fitting nod, especially with the Astros honoring her and the other Houston Olympians who participated in the 2024 Olympics.

For its part, the MLB took note of the salute after the pitch and even graded it, calling it "still perfect." The league's X (formerly Twitter) account posted the message along with a photo of Biles striking a pose while beaming with a huge smile.

"Checking in on Simone Biles: still perfect," the MLB wrote.

Prior to that post, the MLB also showed its admiration for Simone Biles by calling her the GOAT or Greatest of All Time of gymnastics.

Sure enough, no one can deny that Biles has the credentials to be labeled as the greatest in her sport. She has 11 Olympic medals (seven of which are gold) and 30 World Championship awards to show for it.

With Biles and her fellow Olympic gymnasts going on a trip through 30 U.S. cities for their Gold Over America Tour starting September, maybe fans will get to see them attend more baseball games. The MLB would surely love that.
